Tapes are built from YouTube. Each track plays through YouTube's official embedded player. Nothing is downloaded or hosted here. When someone listens, the content streams directly from YouTube.

mxtapes are track-based by design. Each slot holds one track, just like the mixtapes we used to make back in the day.

How creators are supported

mxtape embeds YouTube's official player. We do not host audio or video files. Playback and monetization are handled directly by YouTube according to its own policies, which offer ways for creators to earn revenue.
